Matrix & Bubble Diagram

  1. I liked the above matrix and diagram, now I think this is the first step into understanding your space, from my point of view what you came up with here is a conclusion, i think the next step shall be 'how to develop' the relationships between visitors and employees in order to rethink the strict understanding of the relationship itself. Thus maybe you will have your own approach of what to see and feel in the space other than similar programs.

    1. The programs won't be similar in size. I'm planning on using a spaces' height to convey some of the exhibits ideas. Thanks for the feed back.

  2. I am stoked to see some real development of programme and organization beginning. although your museum would be fairly functional with the elements listed, consider the following in addition:
    -Add 15% for circulation
    -Double the restroom capacity
-Add 1-2 more passenger elevators and a freight elevator.
-Storage! Storage! Storage! A museum exhibits about 10% of its collection at any one time. Also there needs to be a workshop and staging area for new exhibits.
-Back Of House spaces for admin, curators, resident scientists, etc.
    -Servers/Networking/Telecom
That will keep you busy for a minute or two...

    1. Ah I didn't think it needed too much storage, but you make a good point. I also didn't think of the Servers and Back of House spaces. Thanks!
